Brian W. Taylor is Senior Vice President, International Services of Horizon Lines, where he will oversee the company's expansion into the commercial Asia market, set to launch in December 2010.
Prior to this role, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Horizon Logistics, LLC. Mr. Taylor joined Sea-Land Service in 1984 as a Sales Representative in Montreal, Canada. Throughout his 26-year career with the company, he has assumed management positions in sales and operations in the U.S. and Asia, including General Manager, Buyers Consolidators LTD, based in Hong Kong. He received his Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration in Economics and Financial Management from Concordia University. Mr. Taylor previously served on the board of the Carole Kai Charities, Inc., that supports over 100 local non-profit organizations in Hawaii, and the Hawaii Children’s Discovery Center.
